The treatment of bone tumors is dominated by surgical resection and supplemented by radiotherapy, chemotherapy, targeted therapy, and biological therapy. Microwave ablation is a local thermal ablation technique. It is based on the basic feature that tumor cells are more sensitive to heat than normal cells. It has the features of high thermal efficiency, rapid temperature increase, complete necrosis in the coagulation zone, etc. It has been widely used in liver cancer, lung cancer and other fields. In the 1990 s, Fan Qingyu et al proposed the microwave ablation technique combined with surgical resection for the treatment of bone tumors, which achieves good results. In recent years, microwave ablation of bone tumors develops well. It has the same clinical effects as radiofrequency ablation in the treatment of osteoid osteoma. Microwave ablation treatment of giant cell tumors of the bone has the advantages of low local recurrence rate, good postoperative joint function and patient acceptance. Microwave ablatio
